3/11/99 updates on markets I am watching:
Soybeans-3/10/99close
to a MA crossover. We recieved several momentum buy signals and the chart
chows that it was badly oversold. If we have an up day 3/12 the crossover
signal should be there.
3/11/99-buy signal w/MA crossover. Buy tomorrow within todays range
of prices. I will paper trade buying the closing price or better. 3/12/99
long at 476.50, $500 stop loss. 3/16 /99 closed at 482.75 ( +312 ) 3/30
move stop to 486 ( 1 point below lower blue MA. +25points
Cattle -3/11/99 Glad I
stayed flat and will continue to do came for now. Continues to whip up
and down the MA.
3/10/99the MA's have been whipsawing around since the end of Jan. Another
crossover to the upside was issued yesterday. Lets stay flat for now. 3/16/99
still flat for now, Havn't been paying attention.
Corn
- Long signal 3/8 , long 3/9 at 3/8's close 220.75, trail stop up, use
lower blue MA as a stop ( 218.75 on 3/15, this is also close to a fractal).
Move stop to next fractal low 3/25 at 226 or can wait for an actual MA
crossover down. 3/30 +9.5 points
Oats
- Long 3/10 at 107.25
3/30- closed 121.75 +14 tics
Wheat-
Entered long 3/9 at 3/8 close of 270 , 1st stop is 5 points.
Almost stopped out. Stopped on a MA crossover 3/23, out on open 3/24
at 274. for long trade to make +4 tics, no loss though.
New Signal generated 3/25. Long on 3/26 at the 3/25 close of 282.25.
Closed 3/30 at 294. Set stop below low of 3/29 at @ 285. This could be
beginning of a rounding top. As of 3/30- +11points
